Email: ana@a-courses.de
2. Principle
This website is deliberately built to collect as little data as possible. It sets no cookies, uses no analytics or tracking services, loads no external fonts or videos and has no contact form. There are no user accounts and no newsletter.
3. Hosting
The website runs on a server of Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany. The server is located in a data centre in Helsinki, Finland; all processing takes place within the European Union.
4. Server log files
When you visit the website, technically necessary access data is processed: IP address, date and time of access, page requested, HTTP status code, requested host name, the previously visited page (referrer) and information about your browser (browser type and version, operating system, language setting).
The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The legitimate interest is the secure and reliable operation of the website. Log data is deleted automatically after 7 days.
5. Contact by email
If you get in touch by email, your details (email address, name and the content of your message) are processed solely to handle your enquiry. Getting in touch is voluntary. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where your enquiry concerns entering into a contract, and otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in answering enquiries).
The mailbox is operated by Microsoft Ireland Operations Ltd., Dublin, Ireland (Exchange Online); Microsoft is used for email only. A data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR is in place with Microsoft (the Data Protection Addendum to the Microsoft Product Terms). Mailbox data is stored and processed within the European Union, currently in data centres in Germany (Microsoft EU Data Boundary). Access from third countries, in particular the USA, is possible only by exception, for example for support or to address security risks; Microsoft bases such access on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, under which it is certified, and on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
Enquiries are deleted once they have been dealt with, unless statutory retention periods require otherwise.
6. Your rights
You have the right of access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and the right to object (Art. 21 GDPR). Please contact the address above.
Right to object under Art. 21 GDPR: Where processing is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (server log files, section 4; email enquiries, section 5), you may object to it at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation. The data will then no longer be processed unless there are compelling legitimate grounds that override your interests, rights and freedoms, or the processing serves the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims. An informal objection to ana@a-courses.de is sufficient.
7. Right to lodge a complaint
You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR), in particular the one responsible for A-Courses:
